External hoarding is an essential component of work, health and safety to ensure the safety of the community and keeping a site secure. External site hoarding is used in areas where the panels and braces can be bolted to the site surface and entrance is gained via an access point only. Our designs are prepared specific to suit the requirements of each job and client requirements.
All our designs are engineered and backed by structural engineer certified computations to comply with current codes of practice. Once completed, our hoarding is finished off with a coat of paint and skirting placed along the top and bottom edges to prevent dust and debris flow.
The concrete counterweight system is a free standing system which is supported by one (1) tonne concrete blocks and provides a strong support system. The height of the concrete counterweight system can exceed three (3) metres and not compromise on strength or stability.
This system was initially designed for the purpose of undertaking contract works for Waterways Constructions across various wharf sites throughout Sydney. We met with our client prior to undertaking the works to discuss specifics requirements for each site taking into consideration the weather conditions surrounding the harbour, wind conditions, timing of installations and presentation of the hoarding. After this meeting our team went back and worked with our engineer to build a system that would cater for all these requirements and meet all specifications, legislation and regulations.
After we completed this process we came up with a system that was going to withstand extreme wind conditions, allow us to install 150 LM of hoarding in one day and not affect the hoarding if it was to become wet. The Concrete Counterweight System was then launched and became a product that ITF Hire would offer as an additional hoarding solution.
Since we initially developed this system, we worked on our design for it to become a hoarding system in a league of its own and is now one of our most popular hoardings that meets and exceeds all our client needs, legislations and regulations etc.
Our concrete counterweight system is built to engineer specifications and can be tailored to suit every job or client need.
The post hoarding system is based around the standard fencing principle whilst providing a strong support structure. The system comprises of steel posts concreted into the ground with a height that can exceed three (3) metres.
Our post hoarding system is built to engineer specifications and is tailored to suit every job.
We provide external jersey kerb hoarding in areas where site surfaces cannot be tampered with. The concrete jersey kerb weights up to 2000 kgs which creates a strong foundation for each hoarding panel to stand on. The Jersey Kerb System if traffic rated for safety purposes and suits areas where site excavation exceeds three (3) metres.
Our jersey kerb hoarding system is built to engineer specifications and is tailored to suit every job.
